Evening Retreat: Mary Oliver - September 24, 2026 - 6:30PM-7:30PM CT / 4:30-5:30PM PT

from $10.00

Evening Retreat is a time to come together, to reflect on a poem or sacred reading, to journal and reflect, make art or doodle, and share. This practice is loosely based on the Contemplative spiritual practice of Lectio Divina, with poetry instead of a sacred text.

Contemplative practices invite us into “being fully present — in heart, mind, and body — to what is in a way that deepens awareness, encourages oneness, and strengthens compassion” - from the Center for Action & Contemplation. I don’t know about you, but I definitely need some awareness and compassion these days.

Join me for an hour long drop-in session. We’ll take a few moments to arrive and settle, then get started by reading a poem. We’ll spend some time in silence and stillness. Then, I’ll turn on some music and we’ll have time for journaling or art-making. We’ll spend a few moments at the end to share anything that came up for you.

Use this time to refresh your soul, rest, and just be, knowing you don’t have anywhere else to be, nothing else to do, and that you are safe and loved just as you are.

Once you check out, you’ll be sent to a Zoom registration page. Once you register, you can add it to your calendar. To be safe, I’ll send out a Zoom link to everyone who registers the day of the event as a reminder.
